Taylor Fritz will return to the ATP Tour next week at the Geneva Open in Switzerland, he confirmed through the tournament's social media.
The 28-year-old American has been dealing with chronic knee tendinitis and has not competed since a Round of 16 loss in Miami on March 24.
'I am super excited to be going back to Geneva for the Gonet Geneva Open,' he posted on Thursday. 'I am flying out tomorrow and I have been out for a while so I am super excited to come back and I hope to see you all out there.'
Currently ranked No. 7 in the world, Fritz has not competed on clay since a surprising first-round exit last year at the French Open.
This will be the 10-time ATP Tour winner's fourth consecutive appearance at Geneva, an ATP 250 event where he reached the semifinals in 2023.
