Tiger Woods is back in his home state of Florida.
The New York Post published photos Thursday of Woods getting off of a private plane at Palm Beach International Airport, about 45 miles from his home on Jupiter Island, Fla. He reportedly has been in rehab in Switzerland, going there soon after being charged with misdemeanor DUI following a rollover crash close to home on March 27.
On April 1, Martin County Court (Fla.) Judge Darren Steele granted the motion to travel submitted by Woods' attorney, Douglas Duncan, who cited the 50-year-old golf superstar's need for an 'intensive, highly individualized and medically integrated program' away from media and public scrutiny.
Woods is due in court on July 7. He has entered a not guilty plea.
He was photographed on the tarmac in casual attire -- gray shorts, a black long-sleeved shirt, a black cap and dark sunglasses. He had a backpack and also was wearing a compression sleeve on his troublesome right leg, which was severely injured in another car crash five years ago in Los Angeles County.
Authorities said Woods was speeding when he was involved in that single-car crash on Feb. 23, 2021. He sustained open fractures on both the upper and lower parts of his leg as well as trauma to his ankle. He has required multiple surgeries.
He also has had at least seven back surgeries throughout his career.
Officers at the scene of the most recent accident said Woods appeared impaired and had two pills in his pocket. Prosecutors want to subpoena the golfer's prescription drug records.
Following the Florida accident, Woods -- who has won 15 majors among his 82 career victories -- said he would not play in the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga. He also removed his name from consideration to become captain of the United States' 2027 Ryder Cup team.
