Allen Lazard could be back on the field when the Green Bay Packers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, while fellow receiver Sammy Watkins will sit out with a hamstring injury.
Lazard, forecasted to be Green Bay's top receiving threat after the offseason trade of Davante Adams, missed the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings due to an ankle injury. He played in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears.
Despite playing 55 snaps, Lazard had just two catches for 13 yards and a touchdown against the Bears. His ankle injury caused him to be a limited practice participant on Wednesday and miss practice on Thursday before he was back on the field in a limited capacity on Friday.
Watkins was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before sitting out Friday. He has a team-best 111 receiving yards.
Two other receivers are questionable -- Randall Cobb (illness) and Christian Watson (hamstring).
Tight end Marcedes Lewis (groin) and offensive tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) are questionable.
