CALIFORNIA, U.S. - Days after it confirmed that it had discovered issues affecting some of its iPhone X and 13-inch MacBook Pro products - Apple has now released a pair of repair programs.

Apple has released two repair programs after discovering issues with the solid-state drives of some of the MacBook Pros and a faulty display module found in some iPhone Xs.

Announcing the repair program to fix issues related to the affected 13-inch, non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro, Apple acknowledged that a "limited number" of 128 GB and 256 GB non-Touch Bar models sold between June 2017 and June 2018 have an issue with their solid-state drives.

It said that the issues "may result in data loss and failure." 

Apple said that the company, or an authorized dealer, will service the affected models for free.

Further, the Cupertino, California-based company has recommended getting the devices checked out sooner, rather than later.

Apple also pointed out that owners can check on the service page to determine if their computer is eligible and clarified that MacBook Pro models with the Touch Bar and older models aren't affected.

The second repair program released by the company is related to some iPhone X devices, which the company said might "experience touch issues" because of a failed component in the display module.

According to Apple, parts of the display in affected devices might not respond, might respond only part of the time, or might react even when you're not touching it. 

Apple said that the company or an authorized dealer will replace the display module for free.

However, the company pointed out that if owners of affected phones have "another issue, like a cracked screen, that will need to be resolved first, and will be chargeable."

Apple pointed out that if owners of such models have "already paid to have the display module replaced, you might be able to get a refund."

Apple's iPhone X was released in 2017 at a starting price of $999. 

According to Apple, the issues only affects the original iPhone X, which has already been superseded by the iPhone XS and XR released this year.

Issues discovered with products of the company last week became the latest in a string of product quality problems that Apple devices have faced this year. 

This year, Apple has even raised prices for most of its laptops, tablets and phones, with its top-end iPhones now selling for as much as $1,449, while its best iPad goes for as much as $1,899.
